Venue
Host City: The City of Palermo
The Conference will be held in Palermo that is the main city of the island region of Sicily in Italy. Palermo is in the northwest of the island of Sicily, right by the Gulf of Palermo in the Tyrrhenian Sea. All over the year, the city and its surroundings make an exciting venue. We look forwards to welcome you in Palermo.

Scientifically, Palermo is renowed for its Astronomical Observatory, active since 1790. In 1801 Giuseppe Piazzi managed to discover and identify the first asteroid which he named Cerere Ferdinandea. More recently, the Nobel Prize for Physics Emilio Segrè, together with his fellow mineralogist Carlo Perrier, in 1937 were able for the first time to separate and identify the Tecneto, the last of the natural elements to be isolated and the first artificial chemical element to be produced. This discovery was done in Via Archirafi 36 that nowadays hosts the Dipartimento di Fisica e Chimica Emilio Segrè.
How to reach the Venue
It is increasingly easy to get to Palermo by plane, from abroad as from Italy. In the pre-Covid era, in fact, the Falcone e Borsellino Airport hosted over 70 routes in total (about 15 are charter flights).
If you are traveling from Italy there are several connections available. Several domestic and international connections are operated by low-cost airlines. Ryanair has many flights international flights.
The University of Palermo will be hosting the CNA2022 conference in Viale delle Scienze Building 19, lecture rooms 10, 11 and 12 for registration and parallel sessions, and the nearby Aula Li Donni for the plenary lectures.
